From sketch to prototype — end to end.

Perseus explores how artificial intelligence can transform the entire design-to-prototype pipeline in footwear and product manufacturing. Orion Studio is a rapid prototype end-to-end system that reduces lead time from hours to minutes.

The system analyzes design sketches, identifies product components, flattens 3D forms, proposes pattern engineering that respects the original sketch, and enables interactive parametric adjustments by the pattern maker. The result: a digital prototyping workflow that is faster, more precise, and fully verifiable before physical production.

Hyperspectral imaging for material quality analysis
Seeing what the human eye cannot.

Perseus explores how hyperspectral imaging systems could transform material inspection in leather manufacturing. The Material Vision Lab investigates how spectral cameras can detect microscopic variations in leather surfaces that are invisible to the human eye.

The research program investigates spectral material fingerprinting — a method for encoding the unique spectral signature of each material sample into a digital database. Long-term, this infrastructure could support intelligent automated inspection systems capable of grading, defect detection and quality control at scale.
